At a glance: Your cart and cookie preference are saved in your browser. The Neuropen storefront has no analytics or advertising trackers, no patient record forms and no active online payment collection.
1. Who handles your information
This website is operated by Australian Physiotherapy Equipment Pty Ltd (ABN 19 131 819 693), trading as APE Medical. This statement describes the Neuropen website specifically and should be read with APE Medical’s organisation-wide Privacy Statement, which covers our broader customer and business services.
2. What information is collected
- Browsing: Our hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser details, requested pages, request time and technical error information to deliver and protect the website.
- Your cart: Product identifiers and quantities are stored in your browser. This saved cart does not contain your name, address, health information or payment details.
- Cookie preference: An essential-only selection and the date you save it are stored in your browser.
- Enquiries: If you call or email APE Medical, we receive the contact details and information you choose to provide so we can respond and assist with your enquiry or order.
This website does not ask you to upload patient records, test results or medical histories. Please avoid including identifiable patient information in product enquiries. If sensitive information is needed for a particular service, we will explain why and seek consent where required.
3. How information is used
Information is used to display and secure the website, remember your shopping selections, respond to enquiries, support agreed purchases and meet legal and record-keeping obligations. Your browser’s saved cart and cookie preference are not sent to APE Medical by the storefront merely because you save them.
There is no newsletter sign-up or advertising tracking on this Neuropen website. Using the cart or saving a cookie preference does not subscribe you to marketing. For communications you have separately subscribed to with APE Medical, use the unsubscribe option or contact us.
4. Orders and payment information
Online payments are currently unavailable on this website. It does not currently collect your delivery address or card details. If you arrange an order directly with APE Medical, the privacy information for that ordering and payment service applies.
If on-site payment collection is introduced, this statement and the relevant collection information will be updated to describe the payment provider and information collected before you submit it.
5. Service providers and overseas processing
The website uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure. Those services may handle technical and access information needed to operate and secure the site. If an access sign-in is required, it is handled by the hosting platform. The Neuropen storefront does not receive your sign-in password.
Provider practices are described in the OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Service providers may process information overseas, including in the United States and other countries where they operate.
Information you provide directly to APE Medical may be handled by authorised staff and providers assisting with communications, orders and delivery, or disclosed when legally required. Our organisation-wide statement explains those arrangements. Contact our Privacy Officer if you need more detail about the services relevant to your enquiry.
6. Storage, retention and security
Your cart remains in browser storage until removed or your browser clears site data. The cookie preference is treated as current for 180 days; the stored record can remain until replaced or cleared. The Cookie Policy lists the storage used and its duration.
APE Medical retains enquiry and order records for the purposes described in its organisation-wide Privacy Statement, including applicable legal, accounting and reporting requirements. That statement also describes how information is protected and handled when it is no longer needed.
The website uses HTTPS and access restrictions where applicable. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sharing sensitive information through general product enquiries.
7. Access, correction and complaints
You can ask APE Medical for access to personal information it holds about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern. Email or call the Privacy Officer using the details below and explain your request. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing information.
We will investigate privacy complaints and respond to you. If the matter is not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) about the complaints process.
You can browse product information without contacting us. Choosing not to provide contact or order details may prevent us from assisting with a particular enquiry or purchase.
8. Cookie choices and updates
Use Manage Cookie Preferences to review the storage used by this website. Browser settings provide additional controls. Choices made here do not change your settings on APE Medical’s other websites.
We will revise this statement when the website’s information handling changes and update the date above. New optional tracking will require a fresh choice; saving an essential-only preference does not authorise future tracking.
